Time Managment

Gaining Control Over Busyness

Busy. Busy. Busy. I’ve got no time for anything. I’m exhausted at the end of the day.

How many times have you heard this in a day when talking to others? How many times have you said it yourself? No doubt that life is busy. At work we hear we have to do more with less. At home we might be busy running the kids to their sporting events, taking care of an ill parent or participating in a church group. Regardless of what is draining your time, it still can create a sense of loss of self or imbalance in daily life leading to considerable stress.

An Inspirational Story For a Beautiful Saturday

As I head off to spend time today with my beautiful wife and her parents, I am reminded of a story that I often refer to when I speak of spending quality time with my family.

In honour of this beautiful Saturday, I want to share it with you, as I rush off to spend one of my "marbles" - enjoy!

Stop Procrastinating

How easy it is to put things off or procrastinate on those things we must get done.

As I stare at my ever-growing daily "to-do" list, I can pick out several things that I would rather not do, or at least, would rather not do right now.

While it is important to do the top priority tasks first, let's talk about those ones you keep putting off. Once your major priorities are out of the way, have a look at what is left.

What Rocks Are In Your Jar?

I hope you had a chance to read the story I posted earlier today. This is one I love to use when I'm working with people on time management.

So, if you haven't had a chance yet, scroll down and read that over.

Next, take out a piece of paper. Write down all the things you have to do, including those that you are working on to reach your goals.
